- What counts as a verification?
- Every Trust Packet or signed request you send to the API that runs the verification path. A cryptographically invalid packet still counts — answering “this is fake” is the value. Malformed requests, replays we reject up front, and anything in test mode do not count.
- Are test-mode verifications free?
- Yes. Test API keys are unlimited and never billed, so you can build and run CI without touching your quota.
- What happens if I exceed my included volume?
- On Developer you're capped and prompted to upgrade. On paid plans, overage is billed per 1,000 verifications at your plan's rate — $0.50 (Pro), $0.30 (Scale), under $0.10 (Enterprise).
- Can I self-host instead?
- Yes. The verifier libraries for Node, Ruby, and Python are open source. UniKey Cloud runs the hardened infrastructure — DNS consensus, replay store, audit ledger — so you don't have to.
- How does annual billing work?
- Pay for ten months, get twelve. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time from the billing portal.
- Do you offer enterprise pricing?
- Yes. Enterprise includes committed volume under $0.10 per 1,000, plus ecosystem mode, dedicated or on-prem infrastructure, SSO/SCIM, and uptime SLAs.
